We are rapidly expanding our Wiz practice and are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect (Wiz) to play a central role in that journey. This is not a supporting role on the sidelines — this is a core position for someone who wants to shape how cloud security is designed, positioned and delivered across the BeNeLux region.

You’ll work closely with Dries (Commercial Lead) and Cédric (CTO & Managing Partner) on strategic Wiz opportunities and customer implementations. Together, you’ll help organizations move from fragmented cloud security controls to clear, actionable and scalable CNAPP-driven security programs.

We work with Belgian and international customers, but remain deliberately local, personal and hands-on. No delivery factory. No ivory tower architecture. Just people who care deeply about doing cloud security right.

What you’ll be doing

As Wiz Solution Architect at Upright, you will operate at the intersection of technology, architecture and trust:

Design and architect Wiz-based cloud security solutions using Wiz Cloud, Wiz Code and Wiz Defend
Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Wiz — internally and towards customers
Support pre-sales activities together with Dries: scoping, workshops, demos and PoCs
Partner closely with Cédric to translate customer needs into secure cloud architectures, roadmaps and design choices
Work in alignment with the Wiz BeNeLux team on best practices, regional strategy and customer success
Build long-term, trusted relationships with customers and actively support their cloud security posture
Lead customer onboarding, configuration, tuning and integration of Wiz with:
- Cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- CI/CD pipelines
- Existing security tooling
Represent Upright as our Wiz Champion at events, roundtables and community initiatives

This role combines architecture depth, customer interaction and strategic influence.

Your experience & skills

Strong technical foundation

You don’t need to be a Wiz expert on day one — Upright and Wiz will heavily enable you — but you should bring solid experience in:

Multi-cloud environments: Azure, AWS and GCP (Azure preferred)
Cloud security architecture and best practices (CIS, NIST, Zero Trust, CNAPP)
Kubernetes, container security and cloud-native workloads
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, YAML)
CI/CD and DevSecOps tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
Cloud-native identity concepts (managed identities, RBAC, OIDC, API integrations)

Wiz-relevant experience (strong advantage)

Typical traits of strong (future) Wiz architects include:

Experience with CSPM, CWPP, CIEM or CNAPP platforms (Prisma, Lacework, Orca, Defender for Cloud, …)
Solid understanding of CNAPP fundamentals, such as:
- Attack path analysis
- Vulnerability and exposure management
- Infrastructure-as-Code scanning
- Secrets detection
- Container and Kubernetes posture
- Cloud workload telemetry

Ability to position Wiz in complex cloud ecosystems and clearly explain its value to both technical and executive audiences
